Rasheed Wallace is a toaster?

I'm lost.
How does Carmelo's game resemble salsa? What does Rasheed Wallace have to do with a toaster? This guy watches too much basketball on TV. The heart and soul of the game, as I've said before, is not in the league but on in the various Churches of the Hardwood. Still, got to give props to my ex-Writing Center colleague for pulling off this book.

yeah, this book is getting a lot of buzz round this here internet. i have a kind of love-hate thing with FD in general (not unlike a love-hate thing with academia), but it's always bugged me a little bit how the FD guys are kind of proud to observe the NBA without playing any kind of hoops themselves. i'm not saying you have to be a baller to "get it," but there's some kind of smugness about the (anti-jock) attitude that bugs me.

plus, when ballers watch the NBA, they get to use their mirror neurons. so there.
